Who we are
Healthy Solutions for Children and Families (HSCF) is a mental health center at 8245 NW 36th St, Suite 7, Doral, FL 33166. You can email us at info@hscfdoral.com or call (305) 594-5658.
This policy covers this website only. The clinical information you share as a client is protected by the confidentiality rules for mental health professionals in Florida and, where applicable, by the federal HIPAA law, as explained in our Notice of Privacy Practices. That information is not handled through this website.
Information you give us
When you send the contact form, we keep:
- your name, email and phone number;
- who the help is for, the service you're interested in, your preferred language and how you'd like us to contact you;
- the message you write;
- whether you agreed to receive news by email;
- the language of the page and the link you came from (for example, a QR code).
We ask you not to include medical or health details in the form. If you do, we'll treat them as confidential, but it's better to talk about them by phone.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, the type of device, the approximate city, how you arrived and which links or buttons are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart. We never send it what you type in the form. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.
The site saves two small things in your browser: whether you've seen the welcome screen (for your visit only) and whether you've seen a workshop notice, so it isn't shown again.
The map of our office loads from Google Maps. YouTube videos load only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Some course materials are on Google Drive or Google Docs. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- to answer your request and arrange an appointment or a call;
- to send you news, workshops and tips by email, only if you agreed;
- to improve the site and learn which information is most useful;
- to protect the site from spam and abuse, for example by limiting how many messages can be sent per hour.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. It is shared only with the providers we need to run the site: our website host, the service that delivers our emails, and Google Analytics. We may also share it if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form requests for as long as we need them to reply and stay in touch with you. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Google Analytics keeps its data for a limited period set in our account.
Your choices
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@hscfdoral.com.
- Stop receiving emails at any time by replying to any of our messages or writing to us.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Children
This website is meant for adults. If you're looking for help for a child or teen, please have a parent or guardian send the form.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only authorized HSCF staff can see requests. No system on the internet is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive health information through the form or by email.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with its update date.
