I believe in the power of empathy, active listening and unconditional positive regard.

My name is Beatriz Pedreira, and I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Social Work. I am registered with the state of Florida as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) to obtain my license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW).

With a solid educational background and clinical training, I have the skills and knowledge to address a wide range of mental health concerns. I have experience working with clients in crisis, substance use, hospice and palliative care, and with clients of all ages. As a social worker I have also provided care coordination for behavioral health clients and people with complex medical conditions.

As a therapist, I tailor my interventions to each client’s unique needs and goals, fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. I believe in the power of empathy, active listening and unconditional positive regard. In a supportive, trusting environment, I encourage clients to explore their challenges, gain insight into their emotions and behaviors and develop effective coping strategies, discovering their own abilities and resilience.
