In 2021, therapist Lisa Saldana gave a series of play therapy trainings at Healthy Solutions for Children and Families (HSCF) for our team of therapists and for the community. Each session ran from 2:30 to 5:30 pm and cost $50 per session. This post brings together the original flyers for the series and a photo from our team's training.

Module 1: June 26, 2021

The first module was scheduled for June 26, 2021, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. Its topics were:

  • What play therapy is and is not
  • Relationship issues to be aware of when working with children
  • The use of metaphor
  • Some art and game strategies

Module 2: working with families in play therapy

The second module, on working with families through play therapy, was scheduled for July 10, 2021, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

A later flyer announced a session on the same topic, working with families in play therapy, for July 31, 2021, also from 2:30 to 5:30 pm at a cost of $50 per session.
